TheTot played Gothic

Hey all right! How are you liking it so far? Parts of it can take a while to get used to, but it's got a huge world, I loved it. The second Gothic is probably the best though.

Btw, go here, http://www.worldofgothic.com/ It has tons of info, on all the games, it also has some texture packs for Gothic 1 and 2, plus some for 3 I think.

I used some the Gothic texture packs when I played it.

It's alright, I'm not far into it though. I'm not even going to lie, I spent about 25 minutes trying to figure out how to pick up that torch next to the pond in the beginning. And then I actually did, by accident, and I experimented how I did it with the bear and ore piece. And when I found the first treasure chest, OOOH don't even get me started.

BUT, once I got used to the controls they were kind of nice, I think it just would have been a lot nicer had they put a tutorial or something in.

Haven't even gotten to the first town yet, I have barely explored anything. After taking so long to learn the controls, I ended up walking off a cliff and dying -- Kind of killed my buzz. But I plan on getting back to it tonight.

Yeah, I did the same thing at the beginning of the game as well, haha.

Me and mum (we play the odd game together sometimes) picked this game up and almsot stopped playing it immediatly, way to hard to learn controls from guessing

Yeah this game has one of the strangest control schemes ever.

Once you get the controls down, it's easy.

God I hope you're right, because I keep getting slaughtered.

@Fallout2Forever I meant once you get the controls down, the controls are easy, the game can be pretty hard in the beginning.

I really need to get to playing it...only played 2,3 and Risen which is like 3...
